The Idea of the Clothing Closet
THE RED ROBIN CLOTHING CLOSET was born out of an idea from an Antigo High School student. Ambralynn Nelson, 16, stressed the importance of having clothing and shoes available for the students in need at the high school, with the idea of a school clothing closet. However, this clothing closet will not just be for those in need, it will be for ALL students at the high school.
MISSION STATEMENT: The Red Robin Clothing Closet provides the AHS students with free clothing, shoes, accessories, and hygiene products while promoting an environment of dignity, compassion, and spirit of serving one another.
The Red Robin Clothing Closet will be open for students to "shop" every Friday. However, if a staff member is made aware that a student is in need of items, they, along with the student, can shop immediately at the time of need.
Donations are always welcome! Donations can be brought to the main office at the high school Monday-Friday from 8am-3:30pm. Please label all bags of clothing "Clothing Closet Donations". Donations needed: hangers, clothing racks, clothing, shoes, backpacks, new hygiene products, new socks, coats, boots, hats and gloves, are welcome at this time.
